What Happens When a Warrior Mystic Gets Off the Path of Self-Deception
Updated: Feb 18
The short answer is - this is the beginning of a powerful service.

Chapter One - Sanatorium
Most of us, including myself, find the most growth happen out of handling a personal crisis.
The oldest Tibetan yogi said: there will be a point in your life, when you get over your fear of death, and accept reality as it is.
This is the beginning.
We all come to that realization our own unique way.
When I look back at the times of my own personal trouble, times, when everything was lost, gone, nothing left to repair, I remember a strange feeling of relief that came with disillusionment and sadness that I experienced. .
This feeling of disappointment resulting from the discovery that something is not as good as one believed it to be (Google definition of 'disillusionment'), is so familiar to all of us.
It is a feeling we discovered deep in our childhood and learned to retrieve into, when life gives us lemons.
This is often becomes out personal comfort zone. A feeling we subconsciously chase... even when our loud and conscious mind proclaimed to be on the path to success, happiness and joy.
I call this irrational desire to feel disappointed: walking the Path of the Abused and the Abandoned. The destination is always the childhood feeling of finding comport in sadness, loneliness and cruelty of life. Feeling like a victim. Like a small powerless child.
Standing and loosing against this ever so harsh reality.
But I want to show you what I discovered next. As I had to rebuild after loosing my first husband to suicide, being a young widow with 3 small children... after being ostracized by my powerful father, who was my first spiritual guru and teacher... by being alienated by my daughter, who meant everything to me... by living through betrayal from my man... by having a recent health scare, that humbled me to the ground...
after healing and letting go of my grief... after finding love again... after standing by my own and restoring my confidence and faith... after letting my daughter live her own life as she pleases... after surrendering my control... after forgiveness... after recovery...
OPPOSITE OF DARKNESS IS NOT LIGHT.
OPPOSITE OF DARKNESS IS REALITY.
AND THAT REALITY IS NOT THAT BAD.
Once we grow up, we will discover this one very interesting, very enlightening fact about LIFE.
It is not as grim as you imagined.
If you had stopped chasing disappointment you would open to what's real.

Chapter Two - Reality
Hey, I am actually ok... totally lovable just as I am. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with me.
Hey, perfection was never a condition to love, happiness and success.
Hey, people can be trusted.
OMG! Some people are even amazing!
Honest. True. Strong. Kind.
Wow!
Who knew!
I can rely on myself.
I can trust people.
I can have faith in the universe, god, my own higher self.
I DO know in my heart what joy and light is.
I am grateful.
I might not know all of the answers, but that doesn't mean I can not make it!
In fact, statistically speaking, most people get exactly what they want.
I am just like everybody else.
No better, no worse.
I have 50% chance to succeed at anything.
I can calculate the probability of achieving my goals, by looking back and seeing how I had managed to overcome my circumstances before.
I can see and accept myself being capable, smart and strong.
This is already a better REALITY.
Can you accept it!?

Chapter Three - Warrior Mystic
... Looks peaceful in a face of life. Looks straight at what it is. Prepared to do what it takes to handle, improve and create life.
A Warrior Mystic is a student. A true student of life. Aware and excited about what lessons life brings to her door.
She doesn't give up on herself and her feelings, but she doesn't give in to her fears. Her inner child is cared for. Protected and loved unconditionally.
A Warrior Mystic is not entitled. She takes responsibility for her wellbeing, for her relationships and financial state of affairs.
She works her way through circumstances and learns from her failures and mistakes.
She doesn't avoid limitations, she surpasses them with effort and dedication.
She is a role model for others. She is a leader by example, not by manipulation and tricks.
The Warrior Mystic is now of service.
